OFFICIAL: Jovic signs with Real Madrid

After months of speculation, the club has confirmed it. Luka Jovic is now a Real Madrid player.  "Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to transfer the player Luka Jović, pending medical examination," stated the club in an official press release. 

"The player is linked to the club for the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025," specifies Real Madrid in the statement.

Jovic originally belonged to Benfica, but after a season in Germany, Eintracht took over their rights and has now decided to sell their star player to Real Madrid.

The operation would have closed at 60 million fixed plus another five in variables, according to the latest information. The footballer has astonished Europe with his numbers and amazing performance this last campaign.

Jovic has scored 27 goals in 48 games. He is only 21 years old, and the Madrid club is confident that he will beat all his records at the Spanish entity. 

A masterful movement by Real Madrid, who are looking to strengthen their squad after a disappointing season. Half of Europe had their eye on the promising striker. Finally, the Bernabeu will be his next destination.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will continue working on shaping the squad for next year. Other names like Mendy, Hazard and Mbappé would be on the table of Real Madrid.
