OFFICIAL: Borja Mayoral signs for Roma on loan

Borja Mayoral has gone to Roma on loan for two seasons. Real Madrid confirmed the move in an official statement in which they specified that he will play in the Serie A until at least 30th June 2022. The player was looking for an exit after the protagonism that Zidane was giving to Jovic.

The reason is that he doesn't want to be, as some Spanish media states, the third choice forward in Madrid's plans. It is expected that, in Italy, he manages to achieve a starring role and give good sensations like in his spell at Levante.

"Real Madrid C. F. and AS Roma have agreed to the loan deal of Borja Mayoral for the next two seasons, until 30 June 2022", Los Blancos said in a statement.
