"Oblak is the best goalkeeper in the world and he's shown it again"

Atletico Madrid once again had a great night in the Champions League after knocking out Man Utd in England. Atletico Madrid captain Koke spoke to 'Movistar Liga de Campeones' and he made his first comments after they made the quarter-finals. 

"In the first leg we deserved the victory. The effort the team has made, especially in the first half... we're the deserved winners," the midfielder began.

Koke stressed how important it was to make the next round; "Continuing in this competition is something incredible, especially because of our people. We're having an inconsistent season and being in the quarter-finals is something which is very important."

"In the final minutes I've suffered the most. You try and help from outside and you suffer," the captain admitted once he was subsituted.

Furthermore, the Spanish international did not hesitate in saying who he thought the true hero of the match was: "Jan is the best goalkeeper in the world and he's shown it again. For me, he's been the best game in the match. It's a pleasure to have him and I hope he's with us for many years."

"Let's see who we get and keep on working. There are some very important things. We've got a very important game on Saturday in order to help us qualify for the Champions League again next season," he concluded.
