'Neymar? There's always a lot of talk, but then nobody comes'

Although the exclusive interview hasn't been released yet, a preview has been published, in which Pedrerol asks Ronaldo about the Brazilian star. Specifically, he is asked about the possibility of a 'Cristiano-Neymar duet'.

The Madrid forward didn't give much away, avoiding answering the question directly. "There's always a lot of talk here about big players and signings," he said. "I've been here eight years and they always say 50 players are coming, but in the end nobody comes."

"In September they always say lots of people are coming, but the players who make it to the finals are always the same," he continued. Recently Neymar was in the headlines after his mother spoke to 'ABC', saying that the Madrid players were very friendly to him during a pre-season 'El Clasico' in Miami. 

Despite all the rumours, the latest statements from PSG's chief point to Neymar staying in Paris. Nasser Al Khelaifi recently said that Neymar's father had told him that the forward was staying next season, while other sources state that the arrival of Thomas Tuchel has convinced him to remain in France. 

For Neymar himself, the only focus right now is the World Cup. The Brazilian is expected to be fit by June 3, and his sole objective is to be ready to give his all for his nation.
