According to newspaper 'AS', Neymar has confronted Al Khelaifi for not fulfilling his side of the bargain for the renewal of Dani Alves' contract. PSG's number 10 has spoken in defence of his friend and compatriot, demanding that his time at the club is extending.
On this matter, the media outlet upholds that PSG has offered Dani Alves a renewal with a salary based on games played. A proposal that hasn't sat well with the 35-year-old winger, who has denied the offer just months before his current contract ends.
As a result, Neymar has expressed his thoughts, highlighting to the club that Alves "feels better in Paris". A statement that has done nothing other than to worsen the relationship between Alves and PSG in the midst of speculations surrounding his future at the Parc des Princes.
Likewise, Neymar has been joined by Thomas Tuchel in his support of Alves. The German coach has insisted that the club reconsiders Alves' deal, highlighting the value that the ex-Sevilla, Barcelona and Juventus man brings to his side.
However, despite Neymar's intervention, Al Khelaifi remains stoic in his refusal to comply with Alves' conditions, who in turn is seeking a big renewal premium.
