"Neymar has forgotten that he is a football player"

Former Real Madrid coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo has spoken to 'Radio Jornal' about the situation of Neymar during his time at PSG.

Luxemburgo believes that he lives too far from reality, "He needs to have a chat with the manager, about everything, life in football and France. The player is very protected"

"It's not just the coaches, the directors have also given him special treatment" he added.

Luxemburgo summarised it all with a brief phrase: "Neymar has forgotten he is a football player".

These words come after a mixed season for Neymar. With an excellent start to the season all but forgotten after several injuries and the 'assault' of a supporter after the Coupe de France final defeat to Rennes.
