Mustafi: Price tag is a burden

The German defender joined Arsenal for a fee of £35m from Valencia, with many suggesting that the Gunners paid over the odds for someone who is not considered a first-choice defender for his country.
Mustafi also understands that his transfer fee represents a significant sum of money, but for very different reasons.
"I wanted Arsenal, everything else I left to be negotiated between the clubs. Of course, this is an incredible sum (41 million euros)," he told 'Bild'.
"And I know what a burden that can bring. Some people live on 200 to 300 euros per month. Especially in my second home in Gostivar (Republic of Macedonia). But I could not influence this. So I push it far away out of my head".
However, so far, Mustafi seems to be dealing with the transfer fee without any problems, having won five and drawn one out of six games played for the Gunners.
