Left winger Mykhailo Mudryk is on the agendas of several big clubs. Teams such as Madrid are keeping a close eye on the Shakhtar Donetsk gem.
Darijo Srna, former Shakhtar player and current director of football at the same club, is clear that he can reach the highest level. "Mudryk is better than all the Brazilians we have had so far. It's not demagogy. I've been playing football all my life and I would dare to say that he is the best player in Europe in his position behind Mbappe, Neymar and Vinicius," he said in an interview for 'Marca'.
"If he had a Brazilian passport he would be worth 100 million. If someone wants him, they will have to pay a lot of money," Srna warned.
And he made it clear that Shakhtar are not going to let him go easily, far from it: "We have shown that we know the market and we know how to sell players. There are the examples of Chygrynskyi, Mkhitaryan, Alex Teixeira, Fred, Fernandinho and Douglas Costa.
The Shakhtar manager summed up Mudryk's strengths, for those who haven't had the pleasure of seeing him in action. "He is unbelievable. He has everything and he shows it in every game. He drives left-footed, he drives right-footed, he dribbles very well, he's a good kid and he's only 21 years old. He's not worried about offers, he just wants to have fun playing football," he said.
