Moyes given more power to make signings

After the failure of the project with Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham want David Moyes to build a customised team and revolutionise the squad. For that reconstruction, the Londoners will need funds and prepare the departure of important assets.
According to 'The Sun', two of the players who are on the exit ramp are Fabian Balbuena and Manuel Lanzini. Despite their weight in the team at certain moments, none of them have finished breaking in as expected and they could leave this summer.
The most striking case is that of Lanzini. The skilful Argentinian striker was once on Liverpool's radar, but a knee injury in 2018 changed him completely. Since then he has not been the same and Moyes prefers a player like Spain's Pablo Fornals for his position.
At the back, the Paraguayan Balbuena has had physical problems during his time at West Ham and has not convinced David Moyes since the coach's arrival in mid-season after Pellegrini's dismissal. The British say the centre-back could return to South American football after two years in the Premier League.
