Mourinho poaches Sampdoria's Rapetti for backroom staff

Rapetti will leave his role at Serie A outfit Sampdoria to join up with Mourinho again after the two enjoyed a spell together at Inter Milan. At the time the Portuguese promoted Rapetti to a first team fitness and rehabilitation coach.
United legend Michael Carrick will also be joining Mourinho in the first team set-up, alongside U18s coach Kieran McKenna.
Mourinho was questioned by the Portuguese media earlier in the week, and was pressured to reveal who Faria's replacement would be, but he refused to be drawn into the speculation.
He told reporters: ''It's a person coming who worked with me before but I can't say the name because he is still linked to another club.''
''Michael Carrick [will] become a coach on the pitch but I'm looking for two new people on the team. Good coaches there are many, but I like to make my assistants.''
He added: ''I do not like trained coaches. I like to shape them in my way of thinking and they grow with me and I also grow with them.''
