Mkhitaryan could miss Qarabag clash due to political reasons

The curious situation could also see the former Manchester United man miss the tournament's final, which is set to take place at the Olympic Stadium in Baku.
Tensions are strained between the two nations due to a longstanding conflict over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh territory.
Mkhitaryan has already faced the dilemma in the past, eventually being left out when former club Borussia Dortmund travelled to Azerbaijan in 2015.
Relations between the two coubntires have worsened since then though, with 200 people dying in clashes in 2016.
Following the draw, Unai Emery expressed his hope that he would have Mkhitaryan available for the game.
“I would like him to stay with us if we can,” Emery said. “If we can arrange this, I think it is better.”
However, an Arsenal spokesperson said that a decision would be made in due course.
“Safety and security of all our players and staff is always a top priority," the statement read. "We will be looking into this situation, talk to the player and make a decision after that.”
