Metropolitano turns into a red hell to welcome Atletico before the derby

Atletico Madrid fans answered the call of their team and gathered at Avenida de Arcentales, where the bus arrives at the Metropolitano, at around 7pm. The Rojiblancos took the first breath of hope for a comeback after the 2-1 first leg defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As 19.30 CET approached, the Colchoneros fans began to fill the atmosphere with colour, lighting numerous red flares and singing at the top of their lungs. And yet the bus had not yet arrived.

A few minutes later, the bus appeared and the cheers began to follow one after the other. Under a thunderous "Atleti, Atleti", the Rojiblanco team made their way to the stadium. In addition, there was also a fireworks display.

It was an incredible atmosphere and an extra dose of motivation for Cholo Simeone's men, who took the first step towards a dream night with a happy ending.
