Not even 24 hours have passed since the first official defeat of the season and Barcelona have already hit the training ground. This week is an important one, with the opening of the Champions League and the 'Clásico' against Real Madrid, and the team already trained, although in a soft way, this Sunday.
The training session was an easy one for the starters and not overly long-lasting, but Koeman wanted the team plugged in after a week and a half with almost no practice at all.
Missing from Sunday morning's training was Leo Messi, who was left recovering in the gym after a game in which he was not at his best.
The rest of the first team players were on the pitch for the light session. Things will go further on Monday, when the team will prepare for the Champions League debut against Ferencvaros.
On Tuesday, Barca will train again. It's a risky day because it's a match day, but Koeman hopes to squeeze as much as possible out of the squad with a view to Saturday's Clásico, which has taken on a special importance after the Madrid and Barcelona defeats this weekend.
