Ronald Koeman will finish the season as Barca manager. The club won't take any drastic measures, despite a line of bad results that have left the league title out of their hands.
Koeman's future is up in the air more than ever. The Dutchman has slipped up in his last few matches and has let the La Liga title slip out of his grasp. It's for that reason that Joan Laporta has contacted the Barca boss about a meeting, according to reports from 'Catalunya Radio'.
The president wants to know first hand what Koeman thinks on the matter. He would like him to explain how it is possible that, after a noteworthy comeback, Barca's season is effectively over in the blink of an eye.
In his campaign, Laporta warned that Koeman would continue as manager if the play and results came together, and at the moment neither one nor the other have materialised, despite winning the Copa del Rey against Athletic Club.
Koeman hasn't been publicly backed by the new Barca directive, and this has done nothing other than generate further uncertainty regarding the Dutchman's future at the club.
