It took Juventus 20 minutes to knock down Barcelona. Andrea Pirlo's men started off bulldozing and got 2 quick goals. The first, a penalty from Ronaldo that he won and scored; the second, a volley from Mckennie after a Cuadrado cross.
Juventus combined perfectly in the middle of their rival's half amidst a defence that, of course, could have done better. Mckennie passed to his teammate who put the first time cross in. The American hit it perfectly to beat Ter Stegen.
The keeper couldn't do anything. His opponent finished in the air, volleying, with an acrobatic manoeuvre and used the instep of his right boot to give the German no chance of avoiding the 0-2. It was the icing on the cake for the Italians.
To top it all off, you have to remember that Juventus were able to claim top spot with a win by 3 or more goals, or any win by a 2 goal margin that isn't 0-2.
