"Mbappe is a resolute and offensive leader"

Mbappe has been on the receiving end of further praise from the France head coach, Didier Deschamps. He has highlighted the professionalism that the PSG star possesses. 

"He's still young, but he has always had such maturity on the pitch. He is a resolute and offensive leader", said Deschamps about the 23 year old. 

Deschamps has stressed just how special Mbappe is for the French team: "He has an important role in the national side, but he is not someone who asks for too much off the pitch".

In France, they continue to worry about the PSG player signing for Real Madrid as Mbappe is yet to reveal where he plans to be playing his club football next season. 

The national team headed by Deschamps will play two friendly matches this March in preparation for the Qatar World Cup. First they face The Ivory Coast (Friday), then South Africa (Tuesday).
