Mbappe "annoyed" by Al-Khelaifi's statements in press conference

Nasser Al-Khelaifi was at the press conference on Wednesday to present Luis Enrique as PSG's new coach, and he answered questions from the press about Kylian Mbappe's future.

The PSG chairman was very clear: "Our position is very clear. If Kylian wants to stay, he has to sign a new contract. We want him to stay, but we can't let him leave for free. These statements were not at all to the liking of the player concerned. According to 'L'Equipe', Kylian Mbappe was "annoyed" by his chairman's statements and insists that he never promised not to leave for free.

After that famous press conference, the PSG chief spoke to 'Le Parisien' about the subject in even more candid terms: "(...) I was really shocked to learn that he intended to leave for free. It's very disappointing because Kylian is a fantastic boy, a real gentleman, and to leave for free, by weakening the biggest French club, is not him.
