Maurizio Sarri insists top-four finish is still possible for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri still believes that his side can finish in top 4 this season, and has denied that his team need to win all 8 of their remaining games to do this. The Chelsea manager believes that all 4 teams battling for the 2 remaining spots in the Champions League will likely drop points, and that there is no specific points target to aim for with the battle to tight to call.
Chelsea are currently 6th in the Premier League table, 4 points behind Tottenham in 3rd and 3 behind 4th place Arsenal. Manchester United are a point ahead of Chelsea, and have lost just one Premier League game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season. This has led to Sarri refusing to predict who the remaining teams in the top 4 will be this season.
'I think that in the last period of the Premier League it will be really very hard for every team,' Sarri said, 'And so I think we can reach the top four also, even if we are not able to win eight matches in a row. We can't think about points, I think we need to think match by match.'The best way is to be focused only on the next match at the moment.'
Chelsea begin the final push of their season against Cardiff tomorrow afternoon, as the final 2 months of the season are upon us after the brief international break. Chelsea are also in the Europa League Quarter-Finals, and will face Slavia Prague in 10 days time. However, the top 4 is of vital importance at Stamford Bridge, with the team looking to get back to winning ways after losing to Everton at Goodison Park last time out.
Eden Hazard is likely to play for Chelsea after a thrilling International break with Belgium. Sarri remained unclear of whether Hazard will stay or go, but he did announce Sarri's importance to the club. 'I'm not in charge of the market. For me, Hazard is important at this moment. We need him at the top in the last two months.' The Italian said.
