Martinez: 'Kane has evolved incredibly'

Martinez has praised Tottenham striker Harry Kane's ''incredible'' evolution over the last four years. Martinez is aware of the threat that the England star poses.
He said: ''If you are looking at Harry Kane's level of form, he is someone who has evolved incredibly over the last four years. You are looking at young players using games to game, and Harry Kane has got into the highest level in world football.''
England will face off against Belgium in their final Group G clash in the World Cup on 28th June. Martinez himself played in the UK for twelve years before transitioning into a coaching role.
He said; ''My management career has been in the British game, I have been 21 years in the British game so I have a huge attachment to England. I would not like to face England in the knockout stage, it is all or nothing and I do not think it would be a nice story.''
''At the moment we are in the group stage so there is a little bit of a margin of error. And then you do not face each other until the final. So from that point of view, when you let it settle, it is the best possible outcome,'' he added.
