Help on the way for Liverpool as Mane could return for Chelsea game

But Liverpool are likely to receive a helping hand much earlier than they thought it would be possible as Sadio Mane, who has been away at the African Cup of Nations, could be back in time to play in the Tuesday crucial clash against Chelsea.

The club has scheduled a private jet to fly the Senegalese international to Liverpool, after his country was knocked out by Cameroon in Saturday’s quarter-finals.

The 24-year-old Mane is expected to join his Liverpool team-mates at Monday’s training session and then be included on the squad the following evening.
