Man Utd opt for barbecue over parade if Europa League is won

Manchester United have decided not to organise a city parade should they win the Europa League against Tottenham Hotspur next week.
According to The Times, the club will opt for a more low-key celebration, with a barbecue at the Carrington training facility. Planning for post-final celebrations has to be done in advance, and the club's busy schedule has made it difficult to organise a massive parade.
The Red Devils' schedule includes the final Premier League game against Aston Villa at Old Trafford just days after the European final. In addition, the team will travel to Asia for a post-season tour, with matches scheduled in Kuala Lumpur and another city in just two days' time.
On top of this, many players will have to quickly rejoin their national teams for international commitments. As a result, the possibility of a parade through the streets of Manchester is virtually non-existent.
The club believes that an internal celebration will allow the squad to enjoy the success in a more private way and in keeping with the circumstances of the calendar.
