Man Utd in talks with Tottenham for Hojbjerg

Manchester United are continuing their search for a late signing to bolster their midfield for the current season. According to 'Sky Sports', the Red Devils have made initial contact with Tottenham over a potential move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The Red Devils could take advantage of the fact that the Danish midfielder has entered the final two years of his contract with Spurs to put pressure on Pochettino's side, who would be on the ropes in the summer of 2024 to find a new destination for the player at the risk of him leaving for free.

The English press has also reported this summer that Manchester United have been interested in Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat or Bayern's Ryan Gravenberch. The truth is that the candidate to reinforce Manchester United's midfield could end up being the Tottenham man, who also does not need time to adapt to the Premier League, as he has been in the English football top flight for 7 years.

The Denmark international, who would team up with international team-mate Christian Eriksen, has been key for Spurs last season, making 44 official appearances, 44 starts, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.
