Man City have no intention of letting Phil Foden slip out of their hands. The English club will do everything in their power to try and renew the young English striker for many years.
According to 'The Telegraph', Man City is preparing to give the 21 year-old a long term contract. He would renew until 30th June 2026 despite the fact his current deal does not run until 2024.
But Man City do not want issues with their young player and they will not hesitate in giving him a six year contract with a big pay rise so that Foden does not think of leaving Manchester.
According to the cited media outlet, Man City are also thinking of making the academy player one of the best paid youngsters on the planet. Apparently, the details of his new contract are practically completed and the new deal is expected to be announced next week.
A month ago, the 'Daily Star' reported that the club will not hesitating in multiplying Foden's salary by four. In other words, the player would go from earning 40,000 pounds a week to 150,000.
