Man City hit the front in race for Darwin Nunez

Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Man Utd have something in common. All of them have their eyes on Darwin Nunez and they are thinking of going after him in the next transfer window.
But none of them are in pole position, or at least that is what they think in England. According to the 'Daily Star', Man City have joined in the bidding war and the club believe they are in pole position to sign him.
Man City's great relationship with Benfica, the English paper explains, make the Sky Blues optimistic. The agreements they reached with Ederson and Ruben Dias make them think they can do the same with Darwin Nunez as the main man.
They understand, however, that it will not be cheap. Benfica are trying to get more than 80 million euros.
In any case, we will have to wait until summer to see how many offers Benfica receive and whether Man City's is indeed the best.
