Man City and Man Utd fighting for 19 year-old Norwegian
A 19 year-old who is being looked at by two top English clubs is a great position to be in. If you are in doubt, ask Hakon Evjen. The Norwegian midfielder has been in the spotlight for a few days.
The thing is Man Utd and Man City have got their eyes on the Norwegian international who plays for FK Bodo Glimt. He is a youngster with a promising future ahead of him and he could make the move to the Premier League.
Despite the fact he has not played outside Norway, Evjen would be more than delighted to leave his homeland to play at one of the Manchester sides.
Apart from City and United, Anderlecht and AZ Alkmaar are also interested in him as are teams from Germany and Italy. It is not surprising because Evjen has become one of Norwegian football's great young talents. He is a Norwegian U20 international who possesses a great left foot and lots of technical ability despite his youth.
According to 'Sport', the English press are reporting that the move could be carried out in the winter transfer window. The player has scored nine goals and given three assists in just 19 competitive matches and it will be interesting to see where Evjen's future lies.
