Maguire backs United to triumph over Tottenham in Bilbao

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has expressed confidence that his side can overcome Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. The centre-back acknowledges that the Premier League season has fallen well short of expectations, leaving the club in 16th place.
For both teams, the meeting in Bilbao represents a unique opportunity to redeem themselves after inconsistent domestic campaigns. Maguire admits United have let their fans down "far too much", and that the league performance has been "nowhere near good enough".
Opponents Tottenham have also failed to find consistency and have suffered numerous injuries, which has affected their season. "They've suffered as well as us this season," Maguire said.
The defender underlines the importance of going into the final with maximum commitment: "But we believe in ourselves. We have got to make sure we put the percentages in our favour in terms of turning up, giving absolutely everything and performing on the day."
