Madrid go back in time once more!

According to 'MisterChip' on their official Twitter account, only 30 of the 153 teams that started the Champions League group stages with a point in the first two weeks have got through to the next round. Alarming numbers for all at Santiago Bernabeu.
After falling sharply at Parc des Princes, Real Madrid were surprised by two -almost accidental- goals by Club Brugge, which turned the whole game upside down, as Madrid had gone into this game with confidence and calm after a series of good results.
After half-time, Real Madrid came out fighting and sowed panic through the Belgian team, who could barely manage to save one of their three points at stake. A result that shocked the Belgian team, as they had started off as the better team in the first half.
However, the draw was useless at Chamartin, where Madrid now have to tackle a new challenge against history. Although, they must remember that while it is true that PSG have all six points out of their 2 games in this competition, Club Brugge only have one and, therefore, it all still depends on what Madrid can pull out of the bag.
'MisterChip' states that Real Madrid went through an identical situation in 2002 and still managed to qualify for the final 16. Even so, the white team have been the only Spanish team to achieve this milestone, because on eight other occasions - Barcelona, Athletic, Deportivo, Atlético and Valencia - they were eliminated.
