Mac Allister set to join Liverpool: reports

Several clubs in Europe are keeping an eye on the situation of World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister as the midfielder has stood out this season with his performances.

'Mirror' reports that his agent, who is also his father, has held "private talks" with Liverpool and will travel to the UK next week to finalise the deal.

The same media outlet claims that the Argentinian midfielder has already decided to leave Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of the season and will change his destination in the next transfer window.

Manchester City and Liverpool were the main contenders to sign the 24-year-old but the Reds have won the race for his transfer and we could see Mac Allister playing at Anfield very soon.
