Liverpool will allow Moreno to leave for free this summer

Moreno has been largely out of favour in recent years under Jurgen Klopp, losing his first team spot to Andy Robertson midway through last season, and the club are prepared to cut their losses in a bid to remove the player from the wage bill.
Talks were held between the players representatives and the club in the summer, but the two parties could not agree terms and the talks were ended by the club, who are now reluctant to strike up new talks with the player set to leave this summer anyway.
According to a report by 'GOAL', the Merseyside club are content to let the player see out the final months of his contract, and have already identified a replacement for him.
Academy prospect Adam Lewis has impressed manager Jurgen Klopp in recent months, with the German coach willing to promote the youngster to the senior side, in the hope that he will blossom in the same manner as Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 18 year old is likely to be used as competition for regular left-back Andy Robertson, who himself has had a remarkable rise in recent seasons; helping the 'Reds' to a Champions League final last year, and being named Captain of the Scotland national side.
Current competitor Moreno has long had the chance to establish himself as the first choice left back at Liverpool, but has always seemed shaky in the role, even when deployed as a wing-back as part of a back five.
It is not yet clear which clubs move for the Spaniard, although it is wiely thought that Napoli will reignite their interest in the player, after their £11million offer to buy Moreno was rejected last summer.
After three years it looks like Moreno is set to move away from Anfield, as the player will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January, or alternatively, he could wait until the summer and see which Premier League sides want to keep him in England.
