Liverpool hit the ground running again

Klopp's Liverpool have returned with force. Sweeping victory to kick off the 2020-21 season. Three goals to nil against a Stuttgart that could do little against the Reds' attacking power.

Firmino, Keïta, and the young Brewster scored, one of the revelations of the match. The Liverpool manager made 11 changes at the break, i.e, he changed the whole team to test everyone.

The first goal came in the 15th minute in an electric passage of play on the left. Curtis Jones passed to Firmino and the latter got Liverpool's first goal of the season with great quality.

Alisson had little work in the first half and Adrián in the second. Fabinho and Van Dijk, respectively, commanded the engine room and defence from the start, while Liverpool started with their star trio up top (Salah, Mané and Firmino).

Just before the break, again on the left, Firmino and Salah starred in a perfect one-touch passage of play to leave Keïta alone, who ended up finishing against the Stuttgart keeper with no complications.

Now with the changes, in the second half, the youngster Brewster finished the match with the third goal. Milner put it in, Minamino let it go and the young striker scored alone at the far post to certify that Liverpool have returned to work in force.
