Liverpool close to completion of Fekir signing

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been extensively scouting the 24-year-old over the past season, and it seems as though his plans are coming fruition with reports suggesting the Nabil Fekir is set to undergo a medical.
The France forward is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup in Russia this summer, but Liverpool are keen to wrap up the transfer and secure his signature before the tournament kicks off on 14th June.
Fekir's deal had ''reached a standstill'' according to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas earlier in the week, but both parties are now eager to finalise a deal, with Lyon having accepted that his value may not increase over the World Cup.
According to the 'Liverpool Echo', the Reds have medical staff on standby in France should the need to carry out an assessment suddenly present itself.
Klopp has been very proactive in strengthening his squad ahead of next season, having already secured the services of Monaco's Fabinho and RB Leipzig's Naby Keita and hoping to sign Stoke City's Xherdan Shaqiri.
