Liverpool and Tottenham in the race for Joao Palhinha

Joao Palhinha has not even been in the Premier League for a season and is already on the radar of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Dean Jones told 'GiveMeSport' that both clubs are keeping an eye on him.

The Portuguese midfielder joined Fulham last summer when they paid Sporting 20 million euros for him. His current contract expires in 2027 and he will only leave his current team if the board receive a good offer.

What is striking about his performance this season is that he has adapted perfectly to the English league, as he has scored three goals this season.

Palhinha has played a big part in Fulham's progress. The English side are sixth in the Premier League, two points behind Tottenham and four behind Ten Hag's side.
