Valencia have got themselves into difficulty while trying to renew Ferran Torres' contract. The 20 year-old player's contract at the club runs out in June 2021 and negotiations over his contract renewal have stalled.
The young Valencia talent is trying to become one of the best paid players in the squad and some members of the club like the former vice-president Fernando Gomez, began to suggest new ways of extending his contract.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have become the big favourites to get Ferran Torres in the future although Juventus also showed interest in buying him.
They are not the only ones since the 'Mirror' reports that Liverpool are the latest club to ask about the Valencian footballer. In England he has been presented as "another Torres'" in reference to the golden years Liverpool enjoyed when Fernando Torres was at the club.
Nevertheless, the previously cited media outlet says that it seems difficult for Ferran Torres to move to Merseyside because other clubs with lots of economic power like Juventus and Barca also want him. Valencia, if the player departs, will try and get a large amount of money with his sale.
