Lewandowski wants Madrid switch

The Spanish giants have been linked with the 29-year-old consistently in the past and there have always been rumours that Lewandowski would be keen to play for them too one day, citing it as a "dream".
Reports in 'Marca' on Wednesday have reinvigorated this speculation with the Spanish newspaper claiming that the Bayern Munich striker is determined to end his time in the Bundesliga to join 'Los Blancos'.
However, there is a slight problem: the Poland international's contract doesn't run out until 2021 and the 'Bavarians' don't want him to leave either with the club's managing director echoing these sentiments not long ago.
In their eyes, Lewandowski is pivotal to their European success having featured 177 times for the Bundesliga leaders, since joining from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014, and netting 135 goals. At 29, he is still a guaranteed goal scorer.
Now, it appears the striker wants a new challenge and it could be up to his agent to try and convince Bayern to let their star asset join a European rival, with Lewandowski believing this would be his last big contract before winding his career down.
Either way, this has the potential to be one of football's biggest soap operas this summer.
