Man City hosted Leeds on Saturday with their minds on the Champions League quarter-final second leg. Pep Guardiola left several of his starters on the bench.
Marcelo Bielsa's side believed in their possiblities and ended up going ahead. Joao Cancelo rested on his laurels and Stuart Dallas made it 0-1 with a shot from the edge of the box.
But moments after that, Leeds were reduced to 10. Liam Cooper won the ball, but he then Gabriel Jesus on the knee with his studs showing and he was sent off.
The Brazilian was lucky his leg was not fully on the ground or he could have been serious injury. He was able to continue after treatment.
