Lazio and Rangers keeping an eye on Ekuban's future
Football is stopped in almost all corners of the globe due to the pandemic provoked by COVID-19 and, for now, no one knows when competitions will resume again.
For that reason, it is a good time for teams to start to plan for next season, but it's also the players that are starting to make decisions on their own.
The 'Corriere dello Sport' say that Caleb Ekuban intends to change teams at the end of the season, so he is willing to leave Trabzonspor in the summer window, despite being under contract at the Turkish club until 2022.
And in this scenario of uncertainty, the aforementioned source continues that Lazio and Rangers are interested in signing the Ghanaian.
Ekuban has scored 8 goals and got 5 assists so far and could make the jump up to the Serie A, as, in principle, Lazio would have more of an advantage than the Scottish side.
