Laporta confirms Raphinha set to extend Barcelona contract

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that Raphinha's renewal is close to being finalised. In recent statements to TV3, Laporta highlighted the Brazilian player's involvement in the club's sporting project.

"Raphinha's new deal will happen. Deco has a strong connection with Rapha. The player feels very involved with the project," he said. He also underlined the good understanding between Deco, the sporting director, and the player, which has facilitated the talks.
