La Liga confirm schedule of last matches of the year

On the second day of the World Cup, La Liga showed its face on social media and announced the schedule for matchday 15 of the Spanish first divisson, which is the first that will be played after the Qatar World Cup finished.

There will matches between Thursday 29th December and Saturday 31st December. If the international players can be there will depend on how far they get with their respective sides at the World Cup.

The action will start with three games: Giron-Rayo Vallecano, Betis-Athletic Bilbao, and Atletico Madrid-Elche. Then on the Friday there will be four games: Getafe-Mallorca,Celta Vigo-Sevilla, Cadiz-Almeria and Valladolid-Real Madrid.

The Madrid side will visit Jose Zorrilla and will have the chance to put the pressure on Barcelona, who do not play until the Sunday. The Catalan side, who are first in La Liga, will play the Catalan derby against Espanyol on New Year's Eve.

That same day, Real Sociedad will host Osasuna and Valencia travel to Villarreal, which is a game between two sides from the Valencian region.
