Everyone at Real Madrid agrees that the relationship between Gareth Bale and the club is more tense than ever before. Kroos himself analysed it in an interview with the programme 'Lauschangriff.'
"There's no way of avoiding that the situation is unsatisfactory for everyone. He certainly wasn't signed to play so little as he is doing now," he said about the Welshman, who has played just 20 matches in all competitions this season.
In addition, Kroos added that Bale could be angry with Real Madrid for not letting him leave when he asked to. "I think he wanted to go last summer and the club said yes initially and then no again. I don't know if he's still a bit angry because of that. It's a difficult topic," he stressed.
And the thing is Chinese clubs were constantly linked with Gareth Bale back in 2019. Jiangsu Suning seemed his most probable destination, but Real Madrid made a U-turn and prevented that move from happening.

Now, the problem is with the upper echelons of Real Madrid since Zidane has not managed to get the Welshman back and the player is clear that if they want to get rid of him, he will claim all the money he is owed. An amount which would be more than 60 million euros.
It has been seven years since Bale joined Real Madrid and it does not look like he will be at the club for much longer. At the moment, selling him is difficult because of the player's huge salary- around 14.5 million euros net per season- and his terrible performances on the pitch.
Nevertheless, Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, said that he wants to stay. It has come to such a point that neither the board nor the rest of the players are comfortable with Bale staying. Bale's tussle with Real Madrid could drag on for a bit longer yet.
