Kounde's possible injury remains just a scare

French player Jules Kounde will be available for his national team's upcoming friendly against Chile. It has been ruled out that he is suffering from an ankle injury. The defender had to be substituted in the 61st minute of the match against Germany after a heavy blow.

According to the journalist Saber Desfarges, the FC Barcelona centre-back could be suffering from a sprained ankle. Finally, he rectified it and clarified that "it was only a strong blow that was treated with ice".

In principle, unless a more thorough medical examination shows otherwise, the player will not leave the French national team training camp. Moreover, Xavi Hernandez will be able to count on him when he returns from the international break. 

Jules Kounde is being respected by injuries this season. He has only missed four games due to physical problems, all of them in October due to a sprained knee that kept him out for a total of 18 days.
