Klopp welcomes Arne Slot to Liverpool with a new chant

Jurgen Klopp's legacy at Liverpool goes beyond titles. Not only did he win several trophies such as a Premier League and Champions League, among others, but he changed the face of a project he arrived at when it was in a state of depression and now smiles even when he thinks about the manager's departure. He said goodbye to Anfield by chanting with laughter the name of his successor Arne Slot on Sunday.

In recent weeks, the English press had not only been floating the Feyenoord manager's name as the German's replacement, but had also taken him as a done deal, with a deal still to be agreed with the Dutch because he has a contract left to run in the Netherlands. Just in case the fans still didn't trust the journalists, the former Borussia Dortmund boss chanted the name of the man who will take over the reins of the dressing room after him.

At one point when he took the microphone from the Reds' press, he let himself be carried away by that passion that he has, since 2015, extended to the entire city with a new chant that is likely to accompany the first few months of the coming campaign.

Looking ahead, there are no details on what might happen to Jurgen Klopp, who began his career with an eight-year spell at Mainz 05, followed it with a seven-year stint at Signal Iduna Park and now bids farewell after nine at Liverpool.
