Klopp: "Darwin Nunez just has to remember that he can't stop now"

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp discussed Saturday's game against Everton and gave a message to Darwin Nunez, who is set to return to the starting line-up after overcoming a three-match suspension for headbutting Joachim Andersen. 

"When he got a three-match suspension, which was obvious, we thought he could come back for the derby. If he hadn't have that red card, we would have had him in these games, but he has learned his lesson," said the German.

In the same vein, he added: "He's in very good shape. If you see how we got to this game, with two wins in a row, it's not so bad.... The time he was out, we worked with him. We tried to bring extra things to him, physically and tactically".

However, far from joking, the coach gave him a warning and confirmed that a situation cannot happen again: "He just has to remember that he can't stop now. And he's focused on that, I'm sure.... His English didn't improve much in these ten or fifteen days, or whatever it was.... So I don't know exactly, but he seems to be".

"He looks more adapted, even more than before. He had a good week, a very good week. He's very happy to be back and to put the suspension behind him, because since he's been here I give him a high five but I gave him a slap on his neck as well, just that he doesn’t forget" closed Klopp.
