Kessie's agent denies exit rumours

Barcelona are already planning their squad for next season. The Catalan side want to reinforce several positions but it will not be easy due to their financial problems.

As a result, the board will have to sell several players to balance their wage bill. Franck Kessie was one of the main contenders to leave Xavi Hernandez's side.

'AS' reported that the coach would have explained to Kessie that the club need to transfer him and that the decision has nothing to do with his performances. The 26-year-old would have accepted it with resignation.

Nevertheless, his agent Georges Atangana has denied these rumours on Instagram. He said they were "fake news". But the midfielder's future at Barcelona is uncertain.
