Kessie has already signed for Al-Ahli: reports

It is believed that Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie has signed his contract to join Saudi side Al Ahli and completed his move, following an agreement reached with Barcelona. This is thanks to reports by Saudi outlet 'Arriyadiyah' on Monday.

"Al Ahli have officially signed Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie, Barcelona player, and he will arrive in Jeddah in the next 24 hours", wrote the outlet.

The source reported that the 26-year-old will join the squad after undergoing his medical in order to play the first match of the Saudi Pro-League, which will take place on Friday between Al Ahli and Al Hazm.

According to the same source, Al Ahli offered 15 million euros to the Spanish champions for the midfielder, who has signed a three-year deal worth 20 million euros-a-season.

Kessie only arrived at Barca last season as a free agent from Milan, aiming to bring physicality and an attacking threat to the Spanish team's midfield. He made 24 La Liga appearances, which saw him put up one goal and one assist.

At Al Ahli, he joins several other players who have left Europe's top leagues, including Premier League emigrants Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin.
