Keita set to inherit Gerrard's No. 8 shirt at Liverpool

Keita will finally complete his pre-arrange move on July 1, with lots of expectations from supporters about what the Guinean will bring to the team.
Those will heighten following reports of the alleged shirt number that the 23-year-old has chosen to wear at Anfield.
Keita wore the No. 8 shirt for RB Leipzig and will take up the same number at his new left, which has been vacant since the departure of legendary midfielder Steven Gerrard.
Fans will be hoping their new arrival can take up a similar dynamic, driving role in central midfield which Gerrard was accustomed to bringing on a weekly basis.
Keita has been in Liverpool since late last week, getting used to his new surroundings, and there will certainly be a buzz when the transfer is officially completed at the start of July.
He could make his first appearance for the club as soon as July 7 when Liverpool face Chester in a friendly.
