Keita Balde is from Girona, from Arbucias, to be precise. He is of Senegalese heritage, but he was born in Spain. He came through the Barca ranks so it is no surprise he has talked up a return home.
He was a kid when he left La Masia, although the Monaco attacker continues to think about his old club. "I'd like to return to Spain, return to my country. To which team? Well, everyone knows I'm a Barca fan," he said recently in France.
In any case, Keita Balde feels at ease as of today at the Monaco outfit. "I think with Roberto Moreno, we have found stability and without doubt it is a good club," he assured.
But these days, of course, his day to day life is affected by the coronavirus, like everyone's. "In Monaco, there is lots of organisation, everyne respects the restrictions imposed. I am trying to carry out an ordered life, make food at the same time, train at the same time every day. I'm exercising with the tools the club have given us," he said.
