"Kane is a Tottenham player, it is not my business"

Harry Kane's name has been mentioned all summer at the Etihad Stadium. City have been after him for some time. According to the latest information, they have prepared 150 million euros to persuade Tottenham after his signing.
But Pep Guardiola kept quiet when he was asked whether City would make a big offer for Kane. "I've already answered that in previous press conferences. He's a Tottenham player, I'm not going to talk about him. I made an exception last time, but that isn't my business," he said.
On the upcoming season, the Man City manager said this season will be even more competitive than others. "Since I arrived, every season I've had the feeling there is more competition. Last year was an incredible season, except in the Champions League... It was one of the best in my life," he said.
He hopes Grealish helps City to achieve everything that they ai for this season, although he asked for patience. "All players need time to give it their best. We decided that some players would return later because they needed time after a very busy season," he pointed out.
With regards to the previous season, he hopes that injuries respect his men. Aguero was injured for almost the whole season, but we had Gabriel Jesus. With or without striker, our intention is always to dominate the game," he highlighted.
Lastly, he spoke about De Bruyne and his injury: "He's improving. We have to wait to see what happens. He hasn't been able to complete a session yet."
