The Colombian struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge since signing in February 2015 and ended up spending the whole of last season on loan at the Serie A champions.
Juve president Giuseppe Marotta wants the winger to return to the Juventus Stadium and has reportedly offered £1.7m for another season-long loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent for £19m.
Marotta said yesterday that he is confident a deal can be done.
"I hope that over the next few days we can conclude the Cuadrado deal," he said.
"For now he is a Chelsea player. We presented a proposal to them and are waiting for a response, but we are optimistic".
Cuadrado has not been part of any of Chelsea's matchday squads this season and is expected to be deemed surplus to requirements once again.
