Juan Mata to scale back Manchester United blogs

Manchester United's season took another turn for the worse this weekend. 

Jose Mourinho's men were beaten 3-1 at the London Stadium, as West Ham United further embarrassed the 'Red Devils'. 

Manchester United have now made their worst league start in 29 years, which has resulted in Juan Muata scaling down his blog posts. 

It is understood that he wants to scale back his writing, in order to show Mourinho that he is focussed and committed to football at Old Trafford. 

Mata, who came off the bench against West Ham, wrote on Monday: "Hi everyone. Today, my blog post is shorter than usual. In fact, it isn't really a time for posts.

"I want to thank all of you who support us during these tough times. I understand your frustrations",  he wrote on his blog. 

"The upcoming game against Valencia is a special one for me, but above all it is another chance to get back to winning ways."

Players' use of social media is a hot topic at Old Trafford in the wake of Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba's heated discussion at training last week.
