Luka Jovic is looking for a new home. Despite the fact he still has three years left on his Real Madrid contract, the Serbian international is looking for a new team he can play at ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
Several clubs are interested in the 24 year-old striker, who arrived at Real Madrid as a star, but has not been able to earn himself a place in the starting XI: he has only made 51 appearances in three seasons.
Something which Fiorentina do not mind. They have been linked with the Real Madrid attacker. That said, Real Madrid would have to pay half of his salary to help him leave as the Italians cannot afford to pay his salary.
'TuttoSport' says that the six million euros a year Jovic earns is too much for Fiorentina to get him on loan. It remains to be seen whether Madrid decide to pay three million euros of his salary to end up persuading Fiorentina to get him.
But the Italians are not the only ones who want Jovic. In the last few hours, Besiktas have also asked about him as they want to bring the former Eintracht Frankfurt man to Turkey.
